FOGLIA, meaning 'leaf' in Italian, represents the inaugural design crafted by Creazione SUGO, marking a pivotal milestone in our collection. Its inception traces back over a decade when our founder, Kevin Chu, found himself lost during a backpacking expedition in central Thailand. Amidst the natural surroundings, he was captivated by the surreal transformation of colors on a banana plant under varying light conditions. Enchanted by the interplay of shapes and hues, he resolved to create a product inspired by this extraordinary encounter. In 2011, FOGLIA came to life, embodying Creazione SUGO's innovative design ethos. Over years of refinement and enhancement, the final iteration emerged in 2018, featuring the world's first magnetic interchangeable acrylic screen system, meticulously developed by Creazione SUGO's Italian research laboratory. This innovation renders FOGLIA the epitome of customization in the lighting, sculpture, and design industry.

The LIBELLULA limited edition draws inspiration from the exquisite structure of a dragonfly wing. Each acrylic screen undergoes a meticulous laser engraving process, taking more than three hours for completion. The intricate geometrical patterns created by CAD software absorb indirect light, resulting in a unique glowing pattern that seemingly hovers in space.
