Years ago, Creazione SUGO founder Kevin Chu embarked on an adventurous cycling trip to Guilin. Upon his return, he envisioned creating a product incorporating design elements inspired by this mesmerizing landscape. LED lights are intricately embedded into grooves on top of a rectangular steel base. Laser-sliced acrylic panels, aptly named Hills by the SUGO team, are available in a variety of textures and finishes. These panels can be effortlessly placed into the grooves, allowing for a myriad of creative configurations. When the lamp is switched on, light is absorbed vertically into the laser pantograph lines of the acrylic hills, creating a glowing mountain landscape/lampscape. The Guilin Lampscape transforms you into a creator, enabling you to invent your own desired compositions. Moreover, the interchangeable acrylic hills pave the way for the design of new panels in future collections. This lampscape is not a static geometric object but a transformable entity, akin to the very essence of nature from which it draws inspiration.
